April 2006:

On Representations of the Missing. In this talk and reading accompanied by computer-projected images, I discussed the ways in which age simulations on missing posters, crime scene photographs, and the weather-worn photos of impromptu memorials, offered up possibilities for narrative form in my latest work. On Narrative. With Bill Bissett and James Marshall. On this panel, I discussed “Objective Hazard,” an essay concerned with age simulations and representations of class. Raw Exchange Reading Series. Vancouver Public Library.

 

January 2005:

On Experimental Narrative. With Jeff Derksen, Daphne Marlatt, Gail Scott; moderated by Clint Burnham. This panel discussion, held at Capilano College, launched Biting the Error. The panel was followed by a reading at the Railway club with music by Dark Blue World.
